 This pole-mounted birdhouse was designed and built for the Architect's mother-in-law. It was erected in the spring of 1996 in a little grove of Ponderosa pines in Eastern Oregon. It is perfect for a family of Barn owls, Pygmy owls, or Short-eared owls -- although the first residents to stake a claim were a trashy starling couple. |
